Return Policy
Last Updated:
1. Overview
At Xunrovaroekhunil, we strive to provide exceptional photography education and ensure student satisfaction. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for course cancellations, withdrawals, and refunds. We encourage all prospective students to carefully review this policy before enrolling in any of our courses.
By enrolling in any course offered by Xunrovaroekhunil, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Return Policy. This policy applies to all courses, programs, and educational services offered through our website and physical location.
2. Cooling-Off Period
We offer a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of enrollment. During this period, you may cancel your enrollment for any reason and receive a full refund of all fees paid, provided that:
- The course has not yet commenced
- You have not accessed any course materials or resources
- You submit your cancellation request in writing via email or postal mail
- The cancellation request is received within 14 days of your enrollment date
To exercise your cooling-off period rights, please contact us using the contact information provided at the end of this policy. Refunds processed during the cooling-off period will be returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of receiving your cancellation request.
3. Cancellation Before Course Commencement
If you wish to cancel your enrollment after the cooling-off period but before the course start date, the following refund schedule applies:
More than 30 days before course start: 80% refund of course fees. A 20% administrative fee will be retained to cover processing and administrative costs.
15-30 days before course start: 50% refund of course fees. A 50% administrative fee will be retained to cover processing, administrative costs, and reserved course placement.
Less than 15 days before course start: No refund available. The full course fee will be retained as we are unable to fill your reserved placement on such short notice.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and will be processed based on the date we receive your written notification, not the date you decide to cancel.
4. Withdrawal After Course Commencement
Once a course has commenced, our refund policy becomes more restrictive due to the resources allocated and instruction provided. The following terms apply to withdrawals after the course start date:
Within the first week of course commencement: 50% refund of course fees, minus any materials or equipment costs already incurred. You must return any course materials, equipment, or resources provided in original condition.
After the first week but within the first month: 25% refund of course fees, minus any materials or equipment costs already incurred. This reduced refund reflects the instruction received and resources utilized.
After one month of course commencement: No refund available. At this point, significant instruction has been provided, and resources have been fully allocated to your education.
Students who withdraw from a course remain responsible for any outstanding fees or charges incurred up to the date of withdrawal.
5. Course Cancellation by Xunrovaroekhunil
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to circumstances including but not limited to:
- Insufficient enrollment numbers
- Instructor illness or unavailability
- Facility issues or unavailability
- Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters
- Government restrictions or public health concerns
- Any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
In the event that we cancel a course, enrolled students will be offered the following options:
Option 1: Transfer to the next available session of the same course at no additional cost. Your enrollment will be automatically transferred unless you notify us otherwise.
Option 2: Transfer to a different course of equal or lesser value. If the alternative course is of lesser value, the difference will be refunded. If the alternative course is of greater value, you will be responsible for paying the difference.
Option 3: Receive a full refund of all course fees paid. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation notification.
We will make every reasonable effort to notify students of course cancellations at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start date. However, in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, notification may be provided with less notice.
6. Course Rescheduling by Xunrovaroekhunil
If we need to reschedule a course to a different date or time, we will notify all enrolled students as soon as possible. Students who are unable to attend the rescheduled course will be offered the option to transfer to another session or receive a full refund.
Minor changes to course schedules, such as adjustments to individual class times within the same course period, do not qualify for refunds but will be communicated to students in advance whenever possible.
7. Non-Refundable Items and Services
Certain items and services are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Application fees or enrollment processing fees
- Course materials, textbooks, or supplies that have been opened, used, or cannot be returned in original condition
- Equipment rental fees for equipment that has been used
- Third-party certification or examination fees
- Special event fees or field trip costs where third-party commitments have been made
- Digital content or online resources that have been accessed or downloaded
These non-refundable items will be clearly identified at the time of enrollment and on your enrollment confirmation.
8. Refund Processing
All approved refunds will be processed within 14-21 business days of receiving and approving your refund request. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for enrollment. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact us to arrange an alternative refund method.
Please note that depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it.
Refund amounts will be calculated based on the course fees paid, minus any applicable administrative fees, non-refundable items, and deductions as outlined in this policy.
9. Transfer Policy
As an alternative to cancellation and refund, students may request to transfer their enrollment to a different course session or program, subject to the following conditions:
Transfer requests before course commencement: One free transfer is permitted if requested more than 14 days before the course start date. Transfers requested less than 14 days before the start date may incur a transfer fee of 10% of the course fee.
Transfer requests after course commencement: Transfers after a course has started are generally not permitted. Exceptions may be made in cases of documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances, at our sole discretion.
Transfer to a different course: If you wish to transfer to a different course rather than a different session of the same course, you will be responsible for paying any difference in course fees. If the new course is less expensive, the difference will be issued as a credit toward future courses rather than a refund.
All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability in the desired course session.
10. Special Circumstances
We understand that unexpected life events can impact your ability to complete a course. In cases of documented medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other extraordinary circumstances, we may consider exceptions to this Return Policy on a case-by-case basis.
To request consideration under special circumstances, you must:
- Submit a written request explaining the circumstances
- Provide appropriate documentation supporting your request
- Submit your request as soon as reasonably possible after the circumstances arise
Approval of special circumstance requests is at our sole discretion and is not guaranteed. We will review each request individually and respond within 10 business days.
11. Payment Plans and Refunds
Students enrolled on payment plans who request cancellation or withdrawal will have their refund calculated based on the total course fee and the refund schedule outlined in this policy. Any refund due will be applied first to any outstanding payment plan balance, with any remaining amount refunded to the student.
Students who withdraw from a course while on a payment plan remain responsible for any outstanding payments due up to the date of withdrawal, minus any applicable refund amount.
12. Dispute Resolution
If you have a concern or dispute regarding a refund decision, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss the matter. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and amicably.
To initiate a dispute resolution process:
- Submit a written explanation of your concern or dispute
- Include any relevant documentation or evidence
- Allow us 14 business days to review your submission and respond
If we are unable to resolve the dispute to your satisfaction through direct communication, you may seek resolution through applicable consumer protection agencies or legal channels as appropriate under Australian law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently revised.
Changes to this policy will not affect enrollments made prior to the effective date of the changes. Your enrollment will be governed by the Return Policy in effect at the time of your enrollment.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our refund and cancellation terms.
